Devyn's Birthday

Here is one of the pictures and posts that is a bit late, but who cares I am not being graded on this. (Am I?)

Devyn's 12th birthday was a few weeks ago and I wanted to include a picture from her party. It was a rather LARGE gathering of girls. Actually, there were a couple who couldn't make it. They were greatly missed. I hope they had a lot of fun. It seemed to me they did. It certainly didn't sound boring.

First Day of School

Wow, It has been so long I am having to relearn how to post messages and pics again. I thought it would be fun to put 1st day of school pictures. Time sure does fly. The first picture the kids are in 5th, 3rd and 1st grades. Now 11th, 9th and 7th. As you can see it is our ODD year. Hmmm you can even see that their attitudes have changes a bit.

Anyway, I have so many things I want to post on here like some camp outs and other summer stuff and Dallin in football. But I am waiting on some pictures so hopefully it won't be to long or outdated by the time I get them.

We survived the first week of school and NO one even had their phones taken away. I think that is a good start. All the kids are on traditional school. Lets just take a moment and think about how great that is.

Crazy summer continues....

Last week was girls camp. It sure was a lot of work to get there but I have to admit that once I was there is was a lot of fun. The secret to really enjoying girls camp is to participate with the girls. We tubed the river (cold), and did a zip line that was so fun. I couldn't let the girls see how scared I was. Oh I was so scared. They had 8 men holding blankets to crash into to slow you down. I can't even describe it. It was crazy and I just knew they weren't going to be able to catch me or I would take them out in the process. Needless to say is was so fun and I couldn't stop laughing and smiling once I was down. Devyn got to go to camp even though she is not quite 12. She had a good time and I am very glad we got to go together.

Since we got home it has been back to work. Lakeview Orthodontic Lab is going great. May and June were a bit slow but things have picked up now. Which is good because now that it is not in the house, I have rent to pay.

We just got done weeding the flower beds. Why is it that we are the only ones in our neighborhood with weeds? Honestly, I never see anyone out weeding. A sorry goes out to all our neighbors for our mess.

Cousin Sydnee is spending the night and helped me pick out the new layout....So we wanted to include her in our blog.

Devyn's Braces

Today was a big day for Devyn. She got braces today. Doesn't she look beautiful? Tyler is camping with the scouts and is going to raft the Snake river. He will be back on Sat. Maybe I will be able to get a picture of them rafting.

Well as you can see I got on our first picture. More importantly... I did it myself. I am trying to get new backdrops but the site I want has been down all day.
One day I will actually start talking about our little family.
